Steel and aluminum parts, made from your drawing

We laser cut, bend, weld and powder coat sheet and plate for contractors and product makers. Send a DXF or STEP file and you get a price per part, with notes on anything that would make it cheaper to make.

What the shop does

Most jobs use two or three of these. Keeping all of them in one building means your parts aren't waiting on a truck between steps.

  • Laser cutting

Fiber laser on a 5 × 10 ft bed. Clean edges on steel, stainless and aluminum, with parts nested tight to keep material cost down.

  • Press-brake bending

Brackets, channels, boxes and enclosures formed to the bend lines on your drawing. We check the flat pattern before anything is cut.

  • MIG and TIG welding

Steel frames on MIG, stainless and aluminum on TIG. Repeat jobs get a fixture, so part 200 matches part 1.

  • Powder coating

Our own booth and oven, so parts go from welding to coating without leaving the building. Stock colours or the RAL number you give us.

  • Hardware and assembly

Self-clinching nuts, studs and standoffs pressed in, plus light assembly and kitting so parts arrive ready to bolt on.

  • Tube and bar work

Tube, angle and flat bar cut to length, notched and drilled for frames, rails and supports.

Will my part fit?

A quick check against the sample limits above. It runs in your browser and nothing is sent.

  • Laser cuttingFits on the 60" × 120" bed.
  • BendingWithin the press brake's limits.
  • Powder coatFits the 4 × 4 × 8 ft oven.

Over a limit? Ask anyway. We can often cut a big part in sections and weld it up, or send that one step to a partner shop.

Who sends us work

Mostly businesses within a day's drive, plus product makers who ship us files from anywhere.

  • Contractors and builders

Stair stringers, handrail posts, embed plates, brackets and the one-off piece a job site needs by Friday.

  • Product makers

Enclosures, chassis, panels and brackets for products sold in tens or thousands, with the same drawing revision every run.

  • Machine and equipment builders

Guards, frames, mounting plates and covers, welded and coated to match the rest of the machine.

  • Architects and sign makers

Decorative screens, laser-cut lettering, cladding panels and plate, cut from your artwork.

How a job runs, from drawing to delivery

The same five steps whether you order one bracket or two thousand.

  1. Send the drawing

A DXF, DWG or STEP file, or a PDF with dimensions. Tell us the material, how many you need, the finish and the date you need them by.

  2. Get a quote with shop notes

A price per part at a few quantities, a lead time, and notes on anything costly to make, like a hole too close to a bend.

  3. Sign off the first part

On runs over 50 pieces we make one, measure it against your drawing and send photos (or the part) for you to approve.

  4. Cut, form, weld, coat

Your job moves through the shop on a routing sheet, and each step is signed off before the next one starts.

  5. Inspect and deliver

We check the dimensions your drawing marks as critical, pack coated parts so they arrive unscratched, and deliver or ship.

Questions buyers ask before the first order

Sample answers for this concept.

Which file formats can you quote from?

DXF or DWG for flat parts, STEP or IGES for bent parts and assemblies, and a PDF with dimensions and tolerances. A dimensioned sketch is fine for simple parts: we draw it up and send it back for you to check.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum quantity. There is a minimum charge of $150 per job to cover programming and setup. Sample policy.

How long does a job take?

Sample lead times: laser-cut flat parts in 5 to 7 working days, bent and welded parts in 2 to 3 weeks, and about a week more for powder coat. Your quote gives the date for your job.

Do you supply the material?

Yes. We buy steel, stainless and aluminum for each job and include it in the price. You can also send your own material; tell us the grade and thickness.

Will you sign an NDA before looking at my files?

Yes. Tick the box on the quote form, or send your own NDA, and we sign it before anyone opens your drawings.

Which certifications do you hold?

This is a concept site, so it claims none. A working shop would list only the welding and quality certifications it holds, with details a customer can check.

Do you deliver?

Local delivery on our own truck, pickup at the shop until 3:00 pm, or freight on a pallet. Sample options.
