Your first visit

No surprises. Here’s exactly what happens.

About an hour, start to finish. You’ll leave knowing the state of your teeth, what — if anything — needs doing, and what it costs.

  1. Step 1: Before you come

Fill in a short health history online or on paper, and bring your insurance card and a list of any medicines you take.

  2. Step 2: Arrive & settle in

Come about ten minutes early. We’ll show you around, check your details, and ask what matters most to you.

  3. Step 3: Exam & cleaning

A full exam, digital X-rays if they’re due, and a gentle cleaning. We talk you through each step before we do it.

  4. Step 4: Your plan, in writing

If anything needs attention you’ll get a clear written plan with options and costs — never a surprise bill.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

General information only — your dentist will advise on your own situation.

How young can my child be for a first visit?

We like to meet children around their first birthday, or within six months of their first tooth. Early visits are short and relaxed — mostly about getting comfortable and giving parents a few tips.

It’s been years since I saw a dentist. Is that okay?

Completely. No lectures. We’ll start with an exam, explain what we find in plain language, and help you decide what to do first and what can wait.

I get anxious at the dentist. What can you do?

Tell us when you book. We’ll go at your pace, explain every step before we start, agree on a stop signal, and give you breaks whenever you need them.

What counts as a dental emergency?

Severe toothache, a knocked-out or broken tooth, a lost filling or crown with pain, or swelling in the gums. Call our emergency line and we’ll advise you. If swelling affects your breathing or swallowing, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Do you offer evening appointments?

Yes — in this concept, Tuesdays and Thursdays run until 7:00 pm, and Saturday visits are available by appointment.
