- A written quote after a 15-minute walkthrough
- Furniture wrapped in blankets, beds taken apart and rebuilt
- Morning or afternoon starts, Monday to Saturday

What we do
Household moves only: homes, apartments and storage units. Every job is priced by the hour for the crew and truck.
-
Local moves
Apartments, condos and houses moved across town. One crew packs the truck, drives it and unloads it at the other end.
-
Short-distance moves
Moves up to about 100 miles, loaded and unloaded on the same day. Drive time is billed at the same hourly rate.
-
Packing and unpacking
We bring boxes, paper and tape and pack the whole home, or just the kitchen and the breakables.
-
Loading or unloading only
Renting your own truck or container? A crew of two or three loads it so nothing shifts on the road.
Hourly rates by crew size
The rate covers the movers, the truck, blankets, a dolly and tools. Sample rates
| Crew | Rate | Usually for |
|---|---|---|
| 2 movers + truck | $139 /hr | Studios and one-bedroom apartments |
| 3 movers + truck | $179 /hr | Two- and three-bedroom homes |
| 4 movers + truck | $219 /hr | Larger homes, or a tight one-day deadline |
Rough estimate
Estimated cost
$806 to $1,164
3 movers + truck for about 4 to 6 hours, plus the trip charge.
Two-hour minimum. A flat trip charge of half an hour at your crew's rate covers the drive from our yard. Stairs, long walks from the truck and very heavy items can add time; the walkthrough is where we spot those. The estimate above is arithmetic on sample numbers, not a quote.
How a quote works
The walkthrough is free and takes about 15 minutes. Timings are samples.
Tell us about the move
Fill in the quote form or call. Addresses, home size and the date you have in mind are enough to start.
A short walkthrough
A 15-minute video call, or a visit if you prefer. We look at the big furniture, the stairs and where the truck can park.
Your written quote
Crew size, an hour range and the hourly rate, by email the same or next working day. Anything extra, like a piano dolly, is listed.
Pick your date
Choose a morning or afternoon start. We call two days before to confirm the time and the crew lead's name.
What we don't move
Some things aren't safe in a moving truck, and some are better off with you. Sample policy.
- Hazardous materialsPropane tanks, gasoline, paint thinner, pool chemicals and aerosols.
- Pianos and safes over 300 lbThey need specialist equipment. Ask us and we'll tell you what to look for in a piano mover.
- Perishable foodUse up the freezer in the week before, or move cold food yourself in a cooler.
- Plants on moves over 50 milesA closed truck gets hot. Local moves are fine.
- PetsAnimals travel with you, never in the truck.
Keep these with you in the car
- Medication
- Passports, deeds and other papers
- Cash, jewelry and keepsakes
- Laptops and phone chargers
- Keys to both homes

Questions people ask before booking
Something else? Call (555) 017-4413.
When does the clock start?
When the crew arrives at your door, and it stops when the last item is in place at the new home. A flat trip charge of half an hour covers the drive from our yard. These are sample terms.
Is there a minimum?
Two hours for local moves. Short-distance moves are quoted in full after the walkthrough.
What if the move takes longer than the quote?
The quote gives a range of hours. If it looks like going over, the crew lead tells you why before the extra time starts.
Do you take furniture apart?
Yes. Beds, table legs and simple wardrobes come apart and go back together at no extra charge. Wall-mounted TVs and shelves need to be taken down before we arrive.
How are my things covered?
Every move includes basic cover, which pays by weight. Fuller cover for the value of your things can be added. Ask for the written terms with your quote. Sample terms only.
