New here

Your first class

If you've never done yoga, start with Intro to yoga, Gentle yoga or Slow flow. Yin and Restorative suit any level.

  2. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early

We'll show you the changing room and the prop shelf, and help you set up your mat.

  3. Tell the teacher it's your first time

Mention any injury or pregnancy too. They'll suggest other options in each pose so you can work at your own pace.

  4. Rest whenever you like

Sitting out a pose or lying down for a minute is always fine.

Studio etiquette

A few habits that keep the room calm for everyone. Sample house rules.

  • Arrive 10 minutes early

The door closes five minutes after the start time so the room can settle.

  • Shoes off at the door

Leave them on the rack in the entrance, along with your bag.

  • Phones on silent, in a cubby

If you need to be reachable, tell the teacher and take a spot near the door.

  • Keep the room quiet before class

Chat in the entrance. Some people come in early to lie down.

  • Wipe down borrowed mats

Spray and cloths are by the mat shelf. Props go back where you found them.

  • Leaving early

Take a spot near the door and slip out before the final rest, so the room stays quiet.

Questions before you come

Anything else, ask at the desk or call (555) 016-9204.

I can't touch my toes. Can I still come?

Yes. Most people can't when they start. Teachers offer blocks and other options for every pose.

How do I cancel a booking?

Cancel at least 12 hours before class and the class goes back on your pack. Later than that, it counts as used. Sample policy.

What if I'm running late?

The door closes five minutes after the start. If you're later than that, we'll keep your class on your pack for another day.

I have an injury or I'm pregnant. Which class should I take?

Tell the teacher before class starts so they can suggest other options in each pose. If you have a health condition, check with your doctor before starting any new exercise class.

Do you offer private sessions?

Yes, one-to-one or for a small group, at the studio. Ask at the desk or send us a message for times and prices.

Is there parking?

There's a small lot behind the studio and street parking on Sample Street after 6 pm.
