Colour correction is priced at the consultation, after a strand test. Very long or thick hair may need extra colour, which your stylist will mention before mixing it.

Consultation and patch test
Bring photos of colour you like and tell us what's on your hair now, including box dye. We dab a little colour behind your ear to check for a reaction.

Come with dry hair. Balayage and full highlights take most of a morning or afternoon.
Who needs a patch test
New colour clients, anyone whose last colour with us was more than 6 months ago, and anyone whose health or medication has changed. It needs 48 hours, so we can't do it on the day of your colour.

Fine sections lightened in foils from close to the root, for brightness that starts at the parting.

Lightener painted on by hand, softer at the root and brighter through the lengths, so regrowth shows less.

Booking and cancellation policy
What happens if your plans change. Sample policy
Cancelling or moving
- Cuts and blow-dries: please give us 24 hours' notice.
- Colour appointments of 2 hours or more: 48 hours' notice, as the time can't be filled at short notice.
- Late notice or a missed appointment is charged at half the service price.
- Use the link in your confirmation text, or call us.
Deposits and late arrivals
- Balayage, full highlights and smoothing need a $50 deposit, taken off your bill on the day.
- If you're more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten the service or move it.
- Not happy with your hair? Tell us within 7 days and we'll adjust it at no charge.

Do you cut men's and children's hair?
Yes. Every stylist cuts men's hair, and Marcus specialises in short styles and grey blending. Children 12 and under have their own price on the list.
Can I go from dark hair to blonde in one visit?
Sometimes, but usually not safely. Big changes often take two or three sessions a few weeks apart. Your stylist will tell you at the consultation how many visits it should take and what it will cost.
Do I need a patch test every time?
Only if you're new to us, if it's been more than 6 months since your last colour here, or if your health or medication has changed. The test takes 5 minutes and needs to be done at least 48 hours before the colour appointment.
What if I have curly or textured hair?
Book with Elise for a curly cut. She cuts curls dry, so come with your hair washed, dried and styled the way you usually wear it.
Do you take walk-ins?
For fringe tidies and short cuts, if a chair is free. Colour always needs a booking, and new colour clients need a consultation and patch test first.
What if I'm not happy with my hair?
Tell us within 7 days and we'll book you in to adjust it at no charge. This is a sample policy.
