How the trial lesson works
Choose an instrument and a time
Send the enquiry form or call the office. We confirm a time with the teacher who has space on the day you want.
Thirty minutes with your teacher
A full lesson at your level. Complete beginners play something on day one. Parents can sit in for children under 9.
Decide what's next
The teacher suggests a lesson length or a group. If you join mid-term, you pay only for the weeks left. There's no obligation.

Each student keeps the same teacher from week to week, so lessons pick up where the last one stopped.

Questions families ask
Something else? Call the office on (555) 017-4410.
What age can my child start?
Piano and violin from 5. Guitar from 7, on a smaller guitar. Drums from 8. Children can join the choir at 7 and start private voice lessons at 10.
Do we need our own instrument?
Not for lessons: every room has the instrument. For practice at home, yes. At the trial lesson the teacher tells you what type and size to rent or buy, and what to avoid.
How much practice is expected?
Little and often. For young beginners that is ten to fifteen minutes on most days. The teacher writes the week's practice in a notebook that comes to every lesson.
What if we miss a lesson?
Tell the office 24 hours ahead and we will offer a make-up lesson in the same term. Missed lessons without notice are not made up. This is a sample policy.
I played years ago and stopped. Where do I start?
With a trial lesson. The teacher starts from what you remember, which is usually more than you expect.
