Must be 21 or over and sit through the walk-through. Boating rules differ from place to place, and some ask drivers to carry a boater education card. We'll tell you what applies on this lake when we confirm your booking.
Kids
Welcome on every rental with an adult. Children wear a life jacket the whole time they're on the water.
Kayaks and boards
Everyone should be comfortable in the water. Tell us if it's your first time and we'll start you off near the dock.

Weather and cancellations
Light rain on its own doesn't cancel a rental. If you'd rather not go out in it, call us and we'll move you to another day.
01
We check the forecast
At 7 am on the day of your rental. If storms, lightning or strong wind are expected during your slot, we call or text before you leave home.
02
If we cancel for weather
You choose a new date or a full refund. Your call.
03
If weather turns while you're out
Head back to the dock. If we call rentals in early, you get credit for the time you lost.
04
If you cancel
48 hours or more ahead: a full refund. Less than that: a credit for another day this season.
Conditions on the water can change quickly. You decide whether you're comfortable going out, and you can bring a rental back early at any time.
A map of the lake
You'll get a printed copy at the dock. Pick a place to see where it is.

Questions people ask at the dock
Something else? Call the dock house on (555) 017-4386.
Do I need any boating experience?
Not for kayaks or paddleboards. For a pontoon, the dock walk-through covers steering, docking and the no-wake zones. Tell us if it's your first time and we'll take it slower.
Can we bring our dog?
Dogs are welcome on the pontoon. We have a few dog life jackets to borrow, or bring your own.
Can we fish from the boats?
Yes, from the pontoon or a kayak. Bring your own gear, and a fishing licence for anyone who needs one.
What if we're running late getting back?
Call the dock. Late returns are charged in half-hour steps because the next group is usually waiting for the boat.
What happens if something gets damaged?
Tell us when you get back. Normal wear isn't charged. Anything beyond that comes out of the deposit, and we show you what it covers before you sign.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes, on the pontoon. Please leave glass at home and bring your rubbish back to the dock.
Ask for a date and a time slot
We reply to confirm your booking, or to offer the nearest free slot. Nothing is charged until you check in. This is a demo form, so nothing is sent. Concept
