The 5′ × 5′ lockers are indoors only, and the 10′ × 20′ units are drive-up only.
Climate-controlled or drive-up?
It comes down to what you're storing and how long for. Most furniture and boxes are fine in a drive-up unit for a few months.
Drive-up units
A roll-up door straight off the driveway, so you can back a van or trailer up to it. Not heated or cooled, so summer heat and winter damp reach inside.

Climate-controlled units
Indoor units off a hallway kept between 55°F and 80°F all year. Carts wait at the loading door, and a freight lift serves the second floor. Sample range

Gate and office hours
You can get to your unit on any day, including holidays. The office is where you sign up, buy supplies and borrow a cart.

Your own gate code. Key it in at the pad by the entrance. It works during access hours, and the gate closes behind you.
Your own lock. Use a padlock or disc lock you bring or buy here. Only you have the key.
Lit driveways. Lights stay on along every row until the gate closes.
What you can't keep in a unit
These rules protect everyone's things, not just yours. Your rental agreement has the full list. Sample rules
Food and anything perishable
It draws pests into your unit and your neighbours'.
Anything alive
No pets, no plants, and nobody living or working in a unit.
Fuel and flammables
Gasoline, propane tanks, paint thinner, fireworks. Drain mowers and generators first.
Hazardous chemicals
Pool chemicals, pesticides, solvents and anything with a hazard label.
Firearms and ammunition
Not kept on site under this sample policy.
Stolen or illegal goods
We'll call the police, and the agreement ends.
How renting a unit works
Most people reserve one day and move in the next. Sample terms
Reserve a size
Online or by phone. A reservation holds the unit for 7 days and costs nothing.
Sign the agreement
Online before move-in day, or at the office. Bring a photo ID either way.
Get your gate code and lock up
You choose your own gate code. Bring a padlock or disc lock, or buy one at the office. We don't keep a key.
Pay monthly, leave with notice
Month to month with no minimum stay. Tell us 10 days before you move out.
Your first month is paid when you move in. After that, rent is due on the same date each month, by card, bank transfer or at the office.
Boxes, locks and packing supplies
Sold at the office during office hours. Unused boxes can come back within 30 days for a refund.

Free to borrow
Two flatbed carts and a hand truck live by the office door. Leave your ID at the desk and bring them back the same day.

Do I need to be at the office to sign?
No. You can sign online and pick up your gate code at the office on move-in day, with a photo ID.
Can someone else get into my unit?
You can add a second person to your agreement and they get their own gate code. The lock on your door is yours, and we don't keep a key to it.
Do I need insurance for what I store?
The sample agreement asks you to arrange cover for your own things. A home or renter's policy sometimes includes items kept in storage, so check yours first.
Can I move to a bigger or smaller unit later?
Yes, if one is free. We move your agreement over and the new rate starts the next month.
Will my rate go up?
Rates are reviewed once a year, and you get 30 days' written notice before any change. These are sample terms.
Can I have deliveries sent to my unit?
We don't sign for deliveries. Book them for a time you can meet the driver at the gate.
